Frequently Asked Questions
Are classes in-person or virtual?
We are happy to announce that all our sessions are in-person.
Do I need to sign up for the class?
No sign up required, all you need to do is just show up.
What do I need to bring to the class?
Nothing at all.
What should I wear to class?
Sahaja Yoga Meditation involves sitting on a chair or on the ground to meditate so you can come in comfortable, everyday clothes.
It says Yoga, so will we be exercising in class?
No, we will not be doing any physical exercises in class. The word Yoga, which has come to imply physical exercise in the West, really means union. Sahaja Yoga is the spontaneous union of one’s energy with the universal energy. Once that union happens we enter the state of meditation. So we will be comfortably sitting in chairs and enjoying a peaceful meditation for the entire session.
How much does a session cost?
Sahaja Yoga classes are offered as a community service and are always free all over the world.
I have no experience of meditation, can I still join?
Yes, absolutely! Our sessions are meant to be for all levels. Absolutely beginners and long-time practitioners are all welcome. No experience is necessary.
